gatorade pLAYER OF the year
Since 1985, the POY award recognizes the most elite athletes nation-wide for their athletic excellence, academic achievement and their exemplary character across various sports - football, soccer, basketball, etc. - and from a pool of 608 winners, 12 compete for the award where one male and one female are the selected. Past winners include Peyton Manning, Jayson Tatum, Elena Delle Donne, Cory Booker, Lebron James and many others.
The strategic and creative goal: give the program a re-fresh by building brand and program equity by bringing relevance to Gatorade’s master brand yet retaining a youthful, aspirational, fearless and genuine approach to help propel these young athletes as the next generation of athletes.
